About Our Clinical Director – Laurence Bloom BSc MSc
Laurence Bloom is a highly experienced Performance Coach and Sports Rehabilitation Specialist with more than 18 years working at the top levels of professional football. His career includes leadership roles at Southend United, Charlton Athletic, Nottingham Forest, Millwall, and most recently Cambridge United, where he has overseen performance, injury rehabilitation, and player development.
As Head of Performance, Laurence has been responsible for keeping squads at peak fitness, achieving standout results such as over 90% player availability across three consecutive seasons at Millwall FC. He has also contributed to championship-winning campaigns and playoff promotions, working closely with some of the UK’s most talented athletes.
Alongside his elite football career, Laurence is the Clinical Director of Elite Health & Performance, where he brings the same level of care, detail, and science-driven practice to every client—whether professional athlete or weekend runner.

Bodie Bygate Bsc - Physiotherapist
Bodie is a graduate physiotherapist with experience across musculoskeletal, neurological, and respiratory physiotherapy settings, developing strong skills in assessment, rehabilitation, and evidence-based care.
His experience in professional sport includes working during pre-season with Middlesbrough FC, where he gained valuable exposure to sports injury rehabilitation, return-to-play planning, and load management within a high-performance environment.
Alongside his clinical work, Bodie has experience within the fitness industry, helping individuals build confidence, consistency, and long-term success with exercise and training.
